Like walking, running, jogging or cycling you are a short walk to our new greenway walkway which is 4 miles long.
Close to shops, grocery stores, restaurants, sight seeing etc. Linens included, there are beach towels in the home for your use. Lovely house, super-clean, sunny and welcoming with a wonderful pool. A couple of comments: 1) there were hardly any hooks in the bathrooms or bedrooms to hang dressing-gowns, towels etc. 2) We all found the mattresses rather hard: so when the time comes for renewal, something softer might be considered. But overall terrific.
The house had everything we needed including well stocked kitchen supplies, lots of towels, beach chairs, plenty of seating and space for all 10 of us to hang out, etc. Eileen has thought of everything to make sure her guests are comfortable. We brought extra pillows because we never have enough when we travel but we didn't need them here. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Eileen!
We had a wonderful week in Corolla, and truly enjoyed staying at the Sandbox! It's located close enough to everything, but far enough away to remain serene. The house is beautiful, comfortable and welcoming, and having the pool was an added bonus.
The house was clean and neat. It is really close to the beach which is important for families with small kids. The pool was very nice as well. Eileen was very attentive and a pleasure to work with. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Eileen!
This is our second year staying here and we loved every minute of it! It was spacious enough that no one was on top of each other but yet still cozy enough to be together. The new addition downstairs is gorgeous! The pool was spacious enough to fit two families. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals or enjoy take out. The beach is a very close walk and there are plenty of chairs and beach buggy's for all your items. Eileen is more than accommodating with checking in, reminding us about garbage or just driving by and waving.
